In conjunction with GPB Consulting, we are launching an executive course for blogging.
We propose enjoyable, relevant, valuable and intensive coaching in how to blog, either 1-1 for a series of one or two hour sessions, or in a workshop lasting half a day or a full day, at client’s offices or offsite.
Learning objective: To enable each learner to be a confident, effective and happy corporate blogger To achieve stronger relationships with key clients through the medium of latest technology To win a greater share of the client’s mind, time and loyalty Learning areas: How to write and influence with blogs The technical skills needed to create a blog How to write for an external audience – relaxed, confident, succinct, amusing perhaps, but most of informative, timely and valuable to them How to write for an internal audience - interesting, attention-holding, also succinct and informative. The optimum balance between blogging and day-job activities. This is the day job, but a new way of connecting to clients through a medium that they increasingly want their advisers to use. How to make an impact with 140 characters - your grab has to create traction. It’s why a reader would read more. The key performance indicators (KPIs) – readership numbers, growth of readership, media coverage, communication flows and business generated What the payback time is - short if you get it right, eternity if you don’t Areas to think about: The company’s brand vs. the individual ‘star’ status as a maven How to monitor blogs and look out for other memes and other mavens Format: We will develop number of training/coaching sessions, co-creating them with each client Coaching sessions for 1 to a few people would run for 2 - 4 hours Coaching sessions for a team or group would run for 4 - 8 hours Accreditation and information on the provider: GPB is accredited with The Law Society, so attendees will benefit from knowing the provider is reputable, and participants will receive CPD points.
